Competitive Bid Win: Awarded through competitive bid with Caliente Construction under City of Tempe General Construction Services JOC. High Self-performance: Self-performed over 87% of the project work. Manhole Replacement: Removed and replaced three deteriorated concrete manholes on 24" and 30" sewer lines with two new 72" and 96" corrosion-resistant Armorock Polymer manholes. Hydraulic and Odor Improvements: Enhanced hydraulic characteristics and minimized foul odors on the sewer line. High-traffic Area: Project located at the intersection of Hardy and 17th Place near ASU campus. Sewer Bypass Systems: Installed two sewer bypass systems on 30" and 12" lines, including 24/7 pump-watch, entirely self-performed. Traffic and Public Coordination: Collaborated with City of Tempe for traffic control planning and public outreach, communicating construction impacts to adjacent homeowners. Additional Work: Included pavement removal/replacement, storm drain re-routing, CCTV inspection, air testing, and striping replacement. Timely Completion: Completed the project in less than three weeks to meet holiday traffic restriction requirements.
