Forcemain Repair — Western Canal
Plate 01. Forcemain Repair — Western Canal — Town of Gilbert.

Emergency Response: Engaged under Town of Gilbert's emergency procurement JOC due to 18" DIP wastewater forcemain failure. Immediate Mobilization: Deployed crews, equipment, and materials within hours, working continuously for 36 hours. Stabilization and Bypass: Stabilized the failure site and implemented a 4,100-foot high-line sewer bypass to prevent overflow at Islands Lift Station. Condition Assessment: Performed condition assessment of the forcemain while bypass was in place. Collaboration: Assisted Town and Hazen Engineering with developing a permanent repair solution. Permanent Solution: Trenching and installing a permanent parallel 18" HDPE forcemain across McQueen Road. Redundancy and Future-proofing: Designed the new setup to handle existing flows and provide future redundancy.
