Town of Gilbert

Gilbert System Wide Force Main Rehabilitation

Project No. 005 Town of Gilbert Arizona

Gilbert System Wide Force Main Rehabilitation
Plate 01. Gilbert System Wide Force Main Rehabilitation — Town of Gilbert.

Extensive Scope: Rehabilitation of approximately 22 miles of force mains across 15 lift stations throughout Gilbert. Comprehensive Approach: Included condition assessment, evaluation of repair methods, and implementation of various rehabilitation techniques. Diverse Techniques: Utilized open-cut replacement, slip-lining, CIPP, and SIPP based on specific site requirements. Wide Range: Force main diameters varied from 4-inch to 24-inch, requiring diverse rehabilitation approaches. Infrastructure Upgrade: Replaced corrodible pipe materials to eliminate failures, increase public safety, and improve sustainability. Additional Work: Installed new valves and performed recoating where necessary. Complex Logistics: Managed extensive traffic control and public outreach efforts across multiple sites. Operational Continuity: Implemented complex bypass pumping scenarios to maintain uninterrupted wastewater service during construction. Coordination: Worked closely with Town operations to minimize disruptions to service. Long-term Impact: Significantly enhanced the reliability and longevity of Gilbert's force main system.
